With the completion of the field, its time for us to address the problem of viewing for the many anticipated friends, family and fans of our beloved Cape athletes. Even the best of playing fields is incomplete without adequate seating to accommodate viewers and a press box for announcers and scorekeepers.
 
Above are photos of an installation very much like that being proposed for Hannaford Field. Imagine these seats filled with students, teachers, family and fans, as the lights come up and the players take the field. Imagine a warm, clear Autumn or Spring evening punctuated by the roar of the crowd as play begins, resounding amid the buildings and the trees. That truly is a site to behold.  To the right is a mechanical drawing detailing the style and construction of the bleachers we envision for Hannaford Field. This unit would be138 feet long with 17 rows of anodized aluminum decking with 24" spacing between rows. It would be elevated 3' to 6' to fit the slope of the grounds. Net seating capacity would be approximately 1431 people with 16 handicap wheel chair pockets set into stands. The unit would have a wide front platform stair, a handicap ramp system, and contain end and rear exiting stairs. The understructure will be galvanized steel and sit on permanent concrete foundation piers.
